Treatment of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infections faces challenges such as drug adherence, drug resistance, and re-infection. Surface antigens like BabA and SabA cause the disease, while phytochemicals like glycyrrhizin and cinnamaldehyde in liquorice and cinnamon are highly absorbed by H. pylori.
