<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Autophagy is a recycling pathway in which damaged or dysfunctional proteins, protein aggregates, and organelles are delivered to lysosomes for degradation. Insufficiency of autophagy is thought to contribute to several age-related diseases including osteoporosis.
