Japanese Plum (Prunus salicina) is an important stone fruit, rich in sucrose, fructose, glucose, anthocyanins, and vitamins. Yield and quality of Japanese plum fruits can be negatively impacted by various factors including anthracnose, which causes pre- and postharvest fruit decay.
