Anemarrhena asphodeloides is a medicinal and ornamental plant native to northeast Asia (Wang et al. 2014). In summer 2017, symptoms typical of anthracnose (up to 40% incidence) were observed on A. asphodeloides plants in the medicinal garden of Jilin Agriculture University, Jilin, China.
