Kadsura coccinea (Lemaire) A.C. Smith, a traditional medicinal plant belonging to Schisandraceae, is cultivated in Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Guizhou, and Guangdong provinces of China. A ring spot of K. coccinea occurred on leaves of the plants for years and was not identified until now. The lesions were dark brown and oval, and black dots appeared as the disease progressed.
