Chinese chestnut, Castanea mollissima Blume, has high economic value in China as chestnut planting area and production volume have always been in the forefront of the world. In June 2018, C. mollissima located in Yanyuan County, Dechang County, Liangshan Prefecture (27°15′20″ to 27°19′38″N, 101°44′58″ to 102°04′10″E), has developed leaf spot disease, and approximately 50% of plants showed disease symptoms.
