Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent endocrinopathy in reproductive-aged women having both gynecological and metabolic comorbidities. PCOS increases the risk of cardiovascular and thromboembolic diseases due to heightened prothrombotic states, suggesting shared genetic determinants with thrombophilia.
