Bletilla striata (Thunb.) Rchb. f. (Orchidaceae) is traditionally used in herbal medicine for its hemostatic and antimicrobial properties in China. In April 2017, leaf spots were observed on 40 to 50% of B. striata in three plant nurseries in Guilin, Guangxi, China.
