Stenotaphrum secundatum is a widely cultivated lawn grass that is popular in tropical and subtropical regions (Uddin et al. 2011). There are 68 S. secundatum cultivars in a field of Hainan University, Haikou, Hainan Province, China (N 20°03′; E 110°19′).
