In April 2018, numerous black plum (Prunus domestica L.) fruit collected in a market in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, exhibited circular, slightly sunken lesions in the apex with white mycelial growth at first, becoming bluish green following the occurrence of abundant sporulation.
