Forty-six isolates of Fusarium from diseased carnations were examined for DNA restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLPs) and vegetative compatibility groups (VCGs). Both RFLPs and VCGs identified two major coincident groups. RFLPs identified three minor groups which were not assigned to VCGs.
