Switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.) is widely cultivated in China as a forage and model bioenergy crop. In August 2019, a new leaf spot disease on ‘Alamo’ switchgrass was found in Guangrao, Shandong, China, with disease incidence of approximately 20%.
