Cantaloupe (Cucumis melo L.) is an important Cucurbitaceae crop produced worldwide. Cantaloupe fruit rot has become one of the most important diseases resulting in cantaloupe decline and yield loss in China. In August 2018 in Shuangcheng, Heilongjiang province, fruit rot was observed on infected cantaloupe that appeared as water-soaked lesions, which enlarged gradually to cover most of the fruit surface.
