Cynanchum stauntonii is a medicinal plant belonging to the Apocynaceae family, and its rhizome can be used as antitussive and anti-inflammatory medicine. C. stauntonii is widely cultivated in Tuanfeng, Xinzhou, Yingshan, and Qichun cities in Hubei Province.
