The in-vitro studies of the effect of hydroquinone on plasma methaemogtobin!evels was carried out using two human red blood cell genotypes -- HbAA and HbSS, A total of twenty confirmed blood genotypes were used at absorbances of 540nm and 630nm for both erythrocytes.
