In September 2017, inner brownish lesions and seeds covered by a greenish fungal mass were observed inside peach (Prunus persica L. Batsch) fruits (5% incidence) purchased from a local market in Fuzhou, China. Rotting was originating from the seed core without outer visible symptoms on the fruit.
