Fifty-two patients with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection were treated with standard doses of interferon alfa-2b. During treatment, HCV RNA detection was studied in samples of whole blood (WB), plasma (Pl), and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs).
