The role of LRP in clinical drug resistance in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is controversial. We therefore compared multiple assays, including RT-PCR, immunocytochemistry (ICC) and flow cytometry (FC), in 10 cell lines and in 47 fresh and thawed AML cells in order to validate and to quantitate measures for LRP phenotype detection.
