The generic position of an aerobic, Gram-positive, non-acid-alcohol-fast actinomycete was determined following isolation of the PCR-amplified 16S rRNA genes and alignment of the resultant sequence with corresponding sequences from representatives of the family Pseudonocardiaceae.
