Urogenital isolates (n = 93) of Chlamydia trachomatis were differentiated into serovars and variants by serotyping with monoclonal antibodies and genotyping by restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis of the PCR-amplified omp1 gene, respectively.
