The secretory glycoprotein DNase I acquires mannose 6-phosphate moieties on its Asn-linked oligosaccharides, indicating that it is a substrate for UDP-GlcNAc:lysosomal enzyme N-acetylglucosamine-1-phosphotransferase (phosphotransferase) (Cacia, J., Quan, C., and Frenz, J.
