Samples from 94 Swedish blood donors were analysed for HLA-DQA1 and -DQB1 alleles by the PCR-SSO technique used in the XIth Histocompatibility Workshop. Seven DQA1 and 12 DQB1 alleles were identified and a total of 17 haplotype combinations were found deduced from the most probable allele combinations.
