S-nitroso-N-acetyl-D,L-acetylpenicillamine (SNAP), a chemical donor of NO, inhibited serum- and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF)-stimulated cultured endothelial cell (EC) proliferation in a dose-dependent manner.
