Rambam-Hasharon syndrome (RHS) is a newly recognized autosomal recessive inborn error in fucose metabolism. Mental retardation, short stature, coarse facies, and recurrent infections are the main clinical findings. Several fucosilated proteoglycans are deficient in these patients.
