Over 5000 transgenic families of Arabidopsis thaliana produced following seed transformation with Agrobacterium tumefaciens were screened for embryonic lethals, defectives, and pattern mutants. One hundred and seventy-eight mutants with a wide range of developmental abnormalities were identified.
