Serum lipoprotein allotypes were examined for 10 males and 10 female rabbits from each of 16 genetically defined strains. The results suggested that the four allotypes, Lpq 1, Lpq2, Lpq3, and Lpq4, were controlled by three closely linked genes, IpqA, IpqB, and IpqC.
