OBJECTIVE: An SF3B1 (Somatic splicing factor 3B subunit 1) mutation has been associated with prolactin-secreting pituitary neuroendocrine tumours (PitNET) with increased proliferation, invasion, dopamine agonist resistance and reduced progression-free survival.
