BACKGROUND: Pulmonary lymphangitic carcinomatosis (PLC) secondary to colorectal cancer is an uncommon manifestation, accounting for fewer than 7% of all PLC cases. Because of its nonspecific clinical and radiologic features, it is frequently misdiagnosed as interstitial lung disease or pulmonary infection.
