Pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP) is a rare abdominal cancer where curative treatment involves cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy. Postoperative surveillance relies on radiological imaging and blood tumor markers, which lack sensitivity and specificity.
