AIMS: Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) shows variable left ventricular hypertrophy, yet current diagnostic criteria rely on absolute wall thickness (WT) cut-offs that may miss early or subtle phenotypes, particularly in sarcomere mutation carriers.
