Kaposi sarcoma (KS) is a locally aggressive endothelial tumor that can be classified into four clinical types: classic, AIDS-related, iatrogenic, and endemic. KS usually affects the skin and soft tissues, but it can develop into mucosal, lymph node, and multiple-organ lesions.
