Onset-predictive biomarker tests (OPBTs) for genetic frontotemporal dementia (FTD) may predict symptom onset in coming years. OPBT results could be used as inclusion criterion for clinical trials for FTD, but this requires disclosure of OPBT results to potential participants for informed consent.
