INTRODUCTION: Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) needs to be fully assessed considering its impact on the family, parents and siblings. Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM) such as Medium-Chain Acyl-CoA Dehydrogenase Deficiency (MCADD) should be taken into consideration when SUDC occurres.
