The radioresistant signature of colorectal cancer (CRC) hampers the clinical utility of radiotherapy. Here, we find that fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) potentiates the tumoricidal effects of radiation and degrades the intertwined adverse events in azoxymethane (AOM)/dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced CRC mice.
