INTRODUCTION: Waldenström's macroglobulinemia (WM) is defined as a lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (LPL) with immunoglobulin M (IgM) monoclonal gammopathy and morphologic evidence of bone marrow infiltration by LPL.
