Abstract Background Carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAB) infections are associated with high mortality rates. The optimal treatment regimen for CRAB has not been defined. Cefiderocol has been recently introduced in the armamentarium against CRAB but there is concern about treatment-emergent resistance.
