INTRODUCTION: Uterine leiomyosarcoma (uLMS) is a rare, highly aggressive malignancy. Recent data suggest 50% of uLMS may harbor alterations in the ATRX gene and such mutations may confer sensitivity to ataxia-telangiectasia-and-Rad3-related (ATR) kinase inhibitors.
