Ferroptosis refers to iron-dependent, specialized, and regulated-necrosis mediated by lipid peroxidation, which is closely related to a variety of diseases, including cancer. Tumor cells undergo extensive changes in lipid metabolism, including lipid peroxidation and ferroptosis.
