In a recent Nature publication, Platten et al. describe the feasibility, safety, immunogenicity, and encouraging efficacy of a vaccine targeting the IDH1 R132H protein among newly diagnosed patients with IDH1-mutant glioma. These findings raise promising therapeutic ramifications for the spectrum of IDH1/2-driven tumors.
