BACKGROUND: Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is a complex lymphatic anomaly involving most commonly the mediastinum, lung, skin and bones with few effective treatments. In recent years, RAS-MAPK pathway mutations were shown to underlie the pathogenesis of several complex lymphatic anomalies.
