OBJECTIVES: To investigate platelet pathophysiology associated with pediatric extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). DESIGN: Prospective observational study of neonatal and pediatric ECMO patients from September 1, 2016, to December 31, 2019. SETTING: The PICU in a large tertiary referral pediatric ECMO center.
