Enzalutamide (XTANDI®), an antiandrogen, is used for the treatment of advanced-stage prostate cancer. Approximately, 60% of patients receiving enzalutamide show initial remission followed by disease relapse with the emergence of highly aggressive castration-resistant prostate cancer.
