Mammary gland-derived Escherichia coli (E. coli) is an important pathogen causing dairy cow mastitis. YdiV, with EAL-like domains, inhibits flagellum biogenesis and motility and affects c-di-GMP (eubacterial signaling molecule) concentration changes in bacteria.
