Very rarely, vasoactive intestinal peptide-related diarrhea (VIP-D) is observed in patients with high-risk neuroblastoma (HR-NB) where the associated fluid and electrolyte abnormalities can pose a major clinical challenge for administering the required aggressive multimodality treatment.
