A 56-year-old postmenopausal woman with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest caused by acute myocardial infraction was successfully resuscitated by intensive treatments and recovered without any neurological disability. She was diagnosed as having familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) based on a markedly elevated low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) level and family history of premature coronary artery disease....
