Long-noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have numerous biological functions controlling cell differentiation and tissue development. The knowledge about the role of lncRNAs in human lungs remains limited. Here we found the regulatory role of the terminal differentiation-induced lncRNA (TINCR) in bronchial cell differentiation.
