Melanoma in giant congenital nevus (M-GCN) is a rare and potentially lethal neoplasm. In children, M-GCN appears as a dermal/deep-seated melanoma (DDM-GCN) with histopathologic features difficult to distinguish from proliferative nodules (PNs-GCN).
