Aim: To ascertain the antimicrobial resistance and strain types (STs) of Neisseria gonorrhoeae from 50 remnant Aptima urine specimens using molecular methods. Methods: Mutations predictive of resistance to six antibiotics were identified in eight genes. STs were determined using NG-MAST and NG-STAR.
