Ethoxzolamide (EZA), acetazolamide, and methazolamide are clinically used sulphonamide drugs designed to treat non-bacteria-related illnesses (e.g. glaucoma), but they also show antimicrobial activity against the gastric pathogen Helicobacter pylori.
