Novirhabdoviruses like the Viral hemorrhagic septicemia virus (VHSV) are rhabdoviruses infecting fish. In the current study, RNA genomes of different VHSV field isolates classified as high, medium or low virulent phenotypes have been sequenced by next-generation sequencing and compared.
